An urban fantasy series for fans of the “Supernatural” TV show, CURSED tells the story of Constance Ramirez, a hardened young woman determined to protect her adopted sister, Dro, from the bloodthirsty demons hunting her– and from Dro’s own deadly powers. As the sisters cross paths with demon slayers, psychics, and angels, they become tangled in a dangerous web that brings Constance’s past back to haunt her. Protecting her sister and her new allies will test Constance in ways she never imagined– though she may be too human to survive it.

NOTE: The book will not be on sale on Kindle. Long story short, this is because Kindle has a tight leash on their policies and refuse to budge to help authors out, and I wasn’t quick enough in a change. For this I apologize, though I might do another Kindle promotion in the future.
Oh, but the promos don’t stop there, only this time they’re not for me, but for an author I adore. I’m very excited to announce a soon to be starting promotion called A Fortnight in Loom, set up by myself and The Bookish Crypt to celebrate the upcoming release of Elise Kova’s upcoming novel, The Alchemists of Loom. A little story to explain all of this:
Cassandra and I are fans of Kova’s work and were fortunate enough to be recipients of Advanced Reader Copies of Loom. We loved the book and decided, out of the blue, to create our own promotion for readers who have read and enjoyed the Air Awakens books, love epic and high fantasy, are fascinated by steampunk and adventure, have played or currently play Dungeons and Dragons (believe me, D&D fans, this is a book you want), or are simply looking for a new story in a new world like nothing you’ve ever seen before. So we’re officially presenting A Fortnight in Loom for both ARC readers and Bookstagrammers looking to have fun, want to share their love of great books, and are looking for some truly awesome prizes! Check out Cassandra’s great graphic below for a few more details!
Her vengeance. His vision.
Ari lost everything she once loved when the Five Guilds’ resistance fell to the Dragon King. Now, she uses her unparalleled gift for clockwork machinery in tandem with notoriously unscrupulous morals to contribute to a thriving underground organ market. There isn’t a place on Loom that is secure from the engineer turned thief, and her magical talents are sold to the highest bidder as long as the job defies their Dragon oppressors.
Cvareh would do anything to see his sister usurp the Dragon King and sit on the throne. His family’s house has endured the shame of being the lowest rung in the Dragons’ society for far too long. The Alchemist Guild, down on Loom, may just hold the key to putting his kin in power, if Cvareh can get to them before the Dragon King’s assassins.
When Ari stumbles upon a wounded Cvareh, she sees an opportunity to slaughter an enemy and make a profit off his corpse. But the Dragon sees an opportunity to navigate Loom with the best person to get him where he wants to go.
He offers her the one thing Ari can’t refuse: A wish of her greatest desire, if she brings him to the Alchemists of Loom.
We’ll be announcing the details for the contests and prizes soon, but if you’re interested in winning great prizes now, join Loom’s Guild Games, a great chance to learn more about this awesome book and to win exclusive prizes from the author herself (seriously, she’s always giving bookish swag away!), such as these beauties…
So that’s what’s been going on! I’m still working away at NaNoWriMo, but will be updating my progress as much as I can. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming news about the remaining two books in the Dark Sky series. The cover and synopsis for the next novella, Smoke Sky, will be released in a couple weeks, and if you’re getting eager to know what life was like for the Dauntless Wanderer crew before Claire appeared, be sure to signup for my monthly newsletter and get Amber Sky for free!
